An overview of the role
To support the achievement of marketing activity plans for Open GI to attract potential customers and retain existing ones, in accordance with company goals.
To ensure all activities are on brand and adopt the correct look, feel and tone of language for that specific audience.
Your key responsibilities
Marketing Campaigns
* Help to develop and deliver integrated B2B (and/or B2C) marketing campaigns activity to help promote the company’s brand, message, and product proposition to help attract and/or retain customers.
* Creating and delivering engaging content ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency for brand-language. Ensuring that all communications adopt the correct look, feel and tone that are specific to the reader.
* Ensure any external activity follows the correct internal communication procedures and processes. Ensuring that our people are informed of all marketing efforts.
* Ensure all marketing activity is approved before being released externally.
* Help update the content for marketing collateral, upload to intranet and inform internal stakeholders.
* Organise the print and delivery of marketing materials to deadlines.
* Liaise and network with a range of external suppliers to achieve project timescales.
* Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support the Marketing Manager and achievement of goals.
* Support the whole of the Marketing Team on any other activities as and when required.
* Assist with admin activities such as campaign planning, campaign reporting, sourcing and purchasing relevant images, and raising purchasing orders.
Brand Support
* To support the Marketing Manager - Growth in ensuring all external communications that are delivered from the Group, are on brand, message and are also consistent.
* To ensure all creative works delivered adhere to the company brand guidelines.
Event Support
* Help to plan and deliver events booked by Open GI.
* Ensure brand awareness and messaging is reinforced at all times.
* Provide event management support for any third-party activities.
Other
* To keep abreast of current trends in marketing and in the market Open GI operate in.
* To deliver consistently against personal objectives and record success against set KPI’s.
What you’ll need to succeed
Qualifications
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above (essential).
* Working towards or obtained CIM Marketing Certificate qualification or higher (essential).
Experience
* Minimum 12 months marketing experience within a business-to-business office environment. Experience in an insurance/finance or technology related environment would be advantage.
* Direct marketing experience.
* Experience of Email marketing systems such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud (advantageous).
* Experience of organising and attending events.
* An appreciation of image/design editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Indesign.
Skills
* Writes English to a very high standard, appropriate for different methods of communications.
* Is comfortable with technology and able to use a variety of IT systems including, email marketing software, Microsoft Office SalesForce (essential).
* Have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several, often conflicting priorities.
* Have strong team working skills to work within the department and across other departments.
* Ability to self-manage and self-motivate to continuously expand professional knowledge.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Aptitudes
* High levels of attention to detail.
* Hands-on approach.
* Confident in dealing externally with customers and suppliers and across departments internally.
