Employer Bio
The Diocese of Liverpool wants to see a step change in ministry among the Missing Generation (11-29 year olds) and has embarked on the Missing Generation Programme focused in three areas of Liverpool and in the regional town of Wigan.
By the end of the Programme, they plan to have a thriving schools ministry and three Resource Churches – churches that make disciples and grow at pace and multiply, specifically focusing on and attracting the Missing Generation. St Georges and St Peter’s with St John Chrysostom will form one of these Resource Churches, and the initial two-year funding for the Operations Manager role is through this Missing Generation programme. The funding also includes the recruitment of further staff members focused on developing ministry to engage and disciple 11-29-year-olds.
