Sustainability
At Queen Victoria Hospital, we want to be the first Net Zero Hospital in England, and to achieve that, we want every member of staff to be a green champion. The way in which the Trust works has a significant impact on the organisation’s carbon footprint and that of our patients. The Trust expects all staff to reuse and recycle more, to use energy and water efficiently, to walk or cycle to work if you can, and to have a focus on sustainability in the workplace.
We are looking to recruit a pharmacy technician who will enjoy being a senior part of this friendly close-knit pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills within pharmacy procurement whilst maintaining your general pharmacy technician skills.
Main duties of the job

You will also be the systems manager for the pharmacy IT system (JAC/Careflow).
You will have to cover some dispensary duties. Currently, there are no weekend duties, but you will be expected to be part of the working bank holiday rota. You may also be expected to work some weekends or late nights in the future as part of the drive towards a 7-day service.
