Job summary Medicines Management Pharmacy Assistant The Inpatient Pharmacy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital has the opportunity for experienced Pharmacy Assistants/Dispensers to join our pharmacy team to provide a ward-based medicines management service, supporting pharmacists, medicines management technicians and the wider multidisciplinary team. Candidates must possess or be working towards NVQ Level 2 qualification or show willingness to complete training. In addition, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, undertaking Patient Own Drug (POD) checks, contributing toward the management of stock, including returns. Other responsibilities include; stocklist reviews, prompt processing of discharge medicines and involvement in medicine shortages and recalls.
