Summary of the Role To provide high quality administrative support to the Departments of Clinical & Biomedical Sciences (CBS) and Health & Community Sciences (HCS), supporting key departmental priorities. The CBS and HCS departments are based within the University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS), undertaking internationally excellent research and delivering sector-leading education in an inclusive and supportive working environment. The departments enjoy a close working relationship with NHS partners, both from a research and education perspective. The role ensures the frontline delivery of professional services, ensuring that business is delivered to deadlines. The role will be expected to be heavily involved in local themes of work including Department communication and committees, and REF and KEF preparation including, but not limited to, action planning and tracking, reporting on outcomes and ensuring deadlines are met. The role will contribute towards departmental projects, supporting the University’s Strategy 2030 and ensuring the success of UEMS. This is a varied and interesting role, which requires the ability to respond to, manage and follow up on a diverse range of queries from a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a customer/end user orientated manner.
