A client of ours in the Norwich area is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and paying up to £24,500 per annum depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to:
1. Processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
2. Managing Purchase Orders.
3. Investigating and resolving invoice queries.
4. Contacting other departments to ensure correct and efficient processing of supplier invoices.
5. Performing monthly and periodic reconciliation.
6. Implementing proactive controls to avoid errors.
7. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the function.
8. Ensuring compliance with tax and other statutory requirements.
9. Maintaining a robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures, and processes.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
1. AAT accountancy qualification desirable.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Driving is desirable but not essential due to the city centre location.
