Main duties of the job The post holder will work alongside the Clinical Lead and Matron as a key member of the senior leadership triumvirate; accountable for organising Directorate resources to ensure delivery of safe, high quality and effective patient care. The post holder will work closely with the Endoscopy Matron and Clinical Lead in ensuring that all local and national performance standards and objectives are met and maintained. An important element will be the contribution to the strategic development and continuing improvement of clinical services, in conjunction with the service leadership and wider team, driving efficiencies and innovation throughout the directorate. The post holder will represent the service externally across a range of stakeholders, including but not limited to networks, commissioners, charities and regulators.
