Ultimate Products (Leading Retail Consumer Goods Brand House and PLC business) is currently experiencing fantastic success off the back of our branded strategy and has seen turnover rise to almost £200m in just 3 years. As we set our sights on exceeding £300m within the next 3-5 years, we're seeking dynamic individuals to join us on this exciting journey within our UK sales team.
Already established as a major supply partner to retailers including Tesco, Asda, B&M and Sainsbury and European retailers including Action, Lidl, Aldi and Kaufland, we are now looking to strengthen our sales team both in UK and Europe. In the UK we are looking for either a Senior National Account Manager or National Account Manager with experience of successfully serving the UK supermarkets to join our already very successful team.
Strategically located near Manchester and close to the M62 & M60 motorways, UP's head office has an impressive 10,000 square foot mega showroom and a gold standard working environment. The showroom showcases our fantastic, branded product ranges, perfect for UK retailers with many senior retail decision makers visiting on a regular basis.
We have innovative product ranges under well-known brands like SALTER, BELDRAY, PROGRESS, and RUSSELL HOBBS, a full implemented supply chain infrastructure capable of servicing the biggest retailers in Europe and the senior management team with ambition to be the best Branded Supplier to retail. Now we need suitably experienced and ambitious people to join this new chapter of the company.
As a result, we are looking to expand our already very successful Sales team with a suitably experienced Salesperson who has knowledge and relationships of the UK supermarkets.
The Job Duties
* To use existing customer relationships and retail knowledge to successfully open and grow business in one or more of the customers assigned to you across multiple product categories and tiers
* To promote and sell a wide variety of Branded Consumer Goods to these customers in order to generate large volume orders. Products can include Housewares, Small Domestic Appliances and Laundry & Cleaning. Orders can be from stock or FOB basis
* To account manage the customer base to build strong relationships and repeated business
* To share market knowledge and customer retail insight with the company, our product teams and senior management
* To attend trade shows and exhibitions throughout the world
* To attend key customer meetings at our showrooms in Paris, Manchester (UK) and China (Guangzhou) as required.
What you need
* At least 2+ years’ experience of completing a similar sales, account management role where you have developed business and achieved sales (in excess of £3m per year) within a retail consumer setting
* To have knowledge and experience of account managing one or more of the major UK retail supermarkets, understanding their requirements and buying/supply chain processes
* To have established relationships with key contacts at one or more of the UK supermarkets.
* To have a willingness to travel around Europe and Asia as required
* Excellent presentation and IT skills
* Drive, ambition and determination to succeed
