Intend Maintenance is seeking dedicated individuals to fill various key roles within our organization. We are committed to ensuring that our team members are not only well-compensated but also provided with the training and development opportunities needed to thrive in their roles.
Please note: All roles require PTS (Personal Track Safety) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards. However, we are willing to provide training for these certifications should it be a sticking point for the right candidates.
Level 1: Site Manager
Pay Rates: £165 daily, £20.62 hourly, £42,900 annually (Fully negotiable for the right candidate)
Role Overview: As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects by managing multiple teams. Acting as a critical link between supervisors and senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You may also be required to step into management roles temporarily to cover absences due to holidays or sickness. We offer a fully negotiable package for this position, ensuring the right candidate is well-compensated.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate multiple teams across various projects.
* Ensure the timely and profitable delivery of projects.
* Liaise between supervisors and senior management.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain client satisfaction through exceptional project management.
* Qualifications:
* NPTC Level 4 Diploma in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification (Desirable but not essential).
* Proven experience in managing large teams and complex projects.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
Level 2: Site Supervisor
Pay Rates: £150 daily, £18.75 hourly, £39,000 annually.
Role Overview: As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee all onsite operations, ensuring that teams of subcontractors are working effectively and safely. You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations through regular audits. Your role will also involve producing daily reports on ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors on site.
* Conduct regular health and safety audits.
* Maintain high standards of work quality.
* Produce daily reports on project progress.
* Uphold client satisfaction.
* Qualifications:
* NPTC Level 3 Award in Supervising Safety in the Construction Industry.
* SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification (Desirable but not essential).
* Extensive experience in site supervision.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
Level 3: Senior Climber
Pay Rates: £140 daily, £17.50 hourly, £36,400 annually.
Role Overview: The Senior Climber role is designed for highly skilled climbers with substantial experience. You will be responsible for performing advanced climbing tasks, including aerial rescue and tree cutting, while ensuring the safety and efficiency of site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform advanced tree climbing and cutting tasks.
* Conduct aerial rescues as needed.
* Ensure safety compliance during operations.
* Support the training of junior climbers and ground staff.
* Qualifications:
* NPTC Level 2 Certificate in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting.
* Extensive experience in climbing and tree cutting operations.
* Proficiency in aerial rescue techniques.
* SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification (Desirable but not essential).
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
Level 3: Experienced Controller of Site Safety (COSS)
Pay Rates: £140 daily, £17.50 hourly, £36,400 annually.
Role Overview: As an Experienced Controller of Site Safety (COSS), you will be responsible for overseeing railway site operations with a focus on safety and compliance. You will supervise teams, ensuring that all work meets the required standards and that all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage railway site operations.
* Ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
* Liaise with senior management and other site staff.
* Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
* Qualifications:
* Full COSS (Controller of Site Safety) certification with a minimum of six months’ experience.
* Strong experience in railway site supervision and safety management.
* SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification (Desirable but not essential).
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
Level 4: Junior Climber
Pay Rates: £130 daily, £16.25 hourly, £33,800 annually.
Role Overview: The Junior Climber role is for individuals early in their climbing careers. You will assist with climbing tasks, including aerial rescue and tree cutting, while gaining valuable experience and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in tree climbing and cutting tasks.
* Perform aerial rescues under supervision.
* Work closely with senior staff to develop skills.
* Follow safety protocols and operational guidelines.
* Qualifications:
* NPTC Level 2 Award in Tree Climbing and Rescue.
* Basic experience in climbing and tree cutting.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
Level 4: Junior Controller of Site Safety (COSS)
Pay Rates: £130 daily, £16.25 hourly, £33,800 annually.
Role Overview: As a Junior Controller of Site Safety (COSS), you will be in the early stages of your railway site supervision career. You will assist in overseeing site operations and ensuring safety compliance while gaining the necessary expertise to advance in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in supervising railway site operations.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations under guidance.
* Work with senior COSS staff to develop supervisory skills.
* Contribute to maintaining high standards of work quality.
* Qualifications:
* Initial COSS (Controller of Site Safety) certification with less than six months’ experience.
* Basic experience in railway site operations and supervision.
* Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
Level 5: Ground Staff
Pay Rates: £120 daily, £15 hourly, £31,200 annually.
Role Overview: Ground staff members are essential for supporting climbing and site supervision activities. You will be responsible for operating equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, brush cutters, and hedge cutters to ensure that the site is prepared and maintained efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate chainsaws and other site equipment.
* Assist climbers and supervisors with site preparation.
* Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
* Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the worksite.
* Qualifications:
* NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-cutting.
* Basic experience in operating site equipment.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures.
* Willingness to support team members and take on new tasks.
* PTS and CSCS cards (Training available if needed).
