Your new role As a Production Supervisor, you will manage and oversee daily operations in the manufacturing facility to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Your responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the activities of production staff, planning and managing production activities, and ensuring compliance with highly regulated standards. You will be responsible for resource planning, training and guiding employees, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing employee concerns. Additionally, you will monitor production processes, implement quality control measures, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure production targets are met within allocated time and budget. You will also enforce workplace safety regulations, manage inventory and equipment, and maintain and analyse production records. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in a supervisory or production control role, strong knowledge of production processes and safety standards, and excellent leadership and team management skills. You should have problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to addressing issues, and strong organisational and time-management skills. Proficiency in data analysis and production tracking systems is also required. A Bachelor's degree or suitable experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred, and certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
