Key responsibilities include: • Leading and motivating a team to provide exceptional guest service • Ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes • Managing day-to-day operations and maximizing financial performance • Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts • Participating in the development and implementation of corrective action plans based on review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results • Improving service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs • Empowering employees to provide excellent customer service • Interacting with guests to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels, and overall satisfaction • Providing feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors • Handling guest problems and complaints effectively • Ensuring compliance with all Front Office policies, standards, and procedures • Monitoring adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates • Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, email, or in person • Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems • Informing and/or updating the executives, the peers, and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner • Functioning in place of the Front Office Manager in their absence • Participating in department meetings As a world-class leader in the travel industry, Marriott International offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment where you can grow and develop your skills.
