Senior Mechanical Engineer - Carbon Capture R&D
We are partnered with a net zero technology company in Cambridge who are looking to hire a senior mechanical engineer to join their research and development team.
You will be utilising your mechanical engineering experience to invent and develop brand new products and devices that aim to dramatically increase sustainability and reduce emissions. This means working on a project from initial eureka moment all the way through to readying the products for manufacture.
You will be working alongside expert engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary team, meaning that this role will expose you to new aspects of the design and development process, considering both engineering and science-based principles.
Utilising your mechanical design experience, along with your knowledge of materials and finite element analysis, you will be designing new technology using advanced materials that sits within the carbon capture process. This company have a diverse range of technologies and so you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects within the net-zero mission.
