Personal Development Coordinator
Location: Worksop
Salary: £24,999 FTE (Pro-rata £22,114.50) per annum
The Role
The role of Personal Development Coordinator is an exciting role to be in with every day bringing something different. The role sits within the Student Support and Safeguarding team and will be based at North Notts College, part of the Group. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of an engaging programme of personal development activities and events for College learners to enhance their College experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create a comprehensive programme of personal development and physical health activities available to all learners.
2. Organise, coordinate, and deliver events that develop essential life skills, personal wellbeing, and promote active lifestyles through sports and physical activities.
3. Build effective partnerships with external organisations to provide guest speaker delivery and lead on learner voice activity linking to themed weeks.
4. Utilise sport coaching, personal training, and teaching qualifications/experience to deliver physical activity sessions and classroom-based teaching around personal development key topics.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Experience working within an educational environment, ideally within a Further Education/Post-16 environment.
2. Qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent.
3. Good customer service skills and ability to work with respect and confidentiality.
4. A first aid qualification or willingness to work towards this.
Department Info:
The role will work within a team on site and with colleagues in similar positions across other Group campuses to provide a consistent approach to events, delivery, and offerings. You will report to the Student Support Team Leader and work closely with colleagues in the Student Support teams onsite.
