Lead Health Advisor - BUPA | Sevenoaks Medical Centre, Sevenoaks Full Time Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | Competitive Salary Are you and experienced Health Advisor with excellent organisational skills and looking for the next in your career? We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Health Advisor to join as a Lead Health Advisor in our BUPA clinic at Sevenoaks Medical Centre. As a Lead Health Advisor, you will support the day to day operational functions of the BUPA Health Clinics and act as the lead point of contract for the BUPA Doctors and Health Advisors. This role is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Role Responsibilities include: Offer an outstanding customer experience & put the patient at the centre of their health assessment Explain clinical results and risk factors to our customers – take them on a journey of how this impacts their health & wellbeing & steps they can take to mitigate this risk Give individual lifestyle advice appropriate to customer needs with reference to their health risk, health assessment results and their health and wellbeing goals Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers Maintain accurate client records and get involved in the end to end process Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa’s current clinical policies Carry out clinical testing including; body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, diabetes blood test markers, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, anaemia blood test markers, electrocardiograms, functional movement screening. Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change. Manage and support the Health Advisor Team Person Specification: Health Advisor or similar experience Educated to degree level in exercise physiology, nutrition or similar health science or nursing equivalent qualification Be experienced in giving patient advice in a healthy living / lifestyle context, including physical activity, nutrition, smoking, alcohol, sleep and stress management Experience leading and mentoring a team Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office Suite Strong organisational and communication skills Our Sevenoaks Medical Centre team consists of Nurses, Care Support Workers, Radiographers and administrators to provide outpatient and diagnostic services to the local community, across to a full range of clinical specialties including orthopaedics, dermatology, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology and more.
