Flourish Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a local school Near Stratford-upon-Avon on a full-time basis. Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team.
The school is looking for a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team to provide 1:1 learning support to a child with Autism in KS2. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with SEND.
The responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant role will include encouraging the child’s learning and development, delivering interventions, and working closely with SENDCO and the class teacher.
This role will be full-time and is due to start in September and could continue until the end of Academic year for the right person.
Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant role:
Minimum Level 2 Qualification
UK school experience
Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupil.
Build effective relationships with pupils and staff.
Experience supporting children with SEN.
Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the child.

A competitive salary of £85.02 - £95 per day which equates to £16,578.9 -£18,525 based on working 5 days a week for the full school year.
