An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Paediatric Nurse who has a vast experience in working in the specialist field of epilepsy to join our team on an fixed term or secondment contract until April 2026. From a base at Raigmore Hospital the successful candidate will deliver a specialist epilepsy service to children, young people and their families, to ensure we are providing outstanding services to the children and young people across the Highlands. This will include; direct patient care, nurse led clinics, education, support and advice, over the phone consultation and outreach. As well as taking on strategic direction and implementation of epilepsy nursing service developments, the post holder will be responsible for the line management of one other staff member including the supervision, appraisal and continued professional development to ensure the team are operating at the highest of standards and within local and national guidelines.
