About us:
* The practice has excellent transport links (road/air/rail), being just 20 minutes’ drive and 15 minutes direct train to Gatwick airport and 30 minutes from London by train. It is also surrounded by the natural beauty of the North Downs with many of the old, flooded quarries in the area offering excellent bird-watching.
* As an established surgery it is purpose-built with digital X-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitors, ECG, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters.
Team Info: You will be joining a friendly and passionate team consisting of 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 student nurses, 4 veterinary care assistants, 5 receptionists, and a practice manager. The team holds a variety of interests including surgery and exotics and one of their vets holds a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine.
Role: The practice is expanding and looking for an experienced, personable vet to join their team on a full or part-time basis!
Hours: Full-time hours would be over 4 weekdays and the weekend rota is 1 in 5 full weekends and 1 in 5 Saturdays. There is no OOH responsibility with this role ensuring a great work/life balance.
About you:
* They are looking for a vet who is confident in all aspects of sole charge, routine consulting, and surgery and who has a desire to mentor less experienced vets, as the practice has two new Graduates and a third recent graduate.
* The team is hugely supportive of ongoing development and happy to support areas of individual interest.
* You will be approachable and recognise the importance of building trusted relationships with your patients, clients, and colleagues.
* Experienced vets will feel confident with routine surgical and medical cases and must be confident with occasional sole charge.
* They are also offering help with Visas for any overseas candidates.
Salary: Competitive salary of up to £70,000 p/a (FTE) depending on your experience
