Senior Process Engineer – Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide daily support to the Engineering Design Team, focusing on process design and engineering.
* Act as Process Design Lead for site projects and small process changes.
* Attend regular process design/process change review meetings, providing technical guidance and advice to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose scopes are achieved and executed.
* Develop technical solutions for new plant/equipment and revamps of existing plant/equipment to improve functionality, safety, and reliability based on approved process designs.
* Prepare specifications for all new and revamped equipment, providing support for equipment purchases.
* Evaluate existing process units to support the Plant/Testing Team in troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking constraints, and improving reliability.
* Offer plant support when necessary, including installation or change of equipment, operation of equipment.
* Liaise and work effectively with external engineering resource providers to support the design, deployment, and commissioning of the Balance of Plant of different systems.
* Pursue plant safety and general company safety programs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
* Solid experience working in various Process Design Engineering roles in industrial environments.
* Good understanding of chemical engineering principles, including hydraulics, heat transfer, mass transfer, separation processes, and control/operation of associated plant.
* Familiarity with process equipment and technology, sizing, and preparing process equipment specifications, as well as safety-critical calculations for protective and control devices.
* Ability to perform chemical engineering calculations associated with the above principles.
* Capability to produce Process Schematics, PFDs, and Heat and Mass Balances during early design stages to review and agree with other stakeholders.
* Experience developing P&IDs from Process Schematics, from front-end to detailed design.
* Excellent collaborative and communication skills to engage with other engineering and scientific teams as well as external stakeholders and suppliers.
