Main Areas of Responsibility Your responsibilities will include: Planning and supervising the work of Central Resources, including photocopying, design and production Ensuring high standards in the production and provision of all materials Liaising with outside agencies when necessary Working with departments to produce high quality, relevant display Designing, developing and managing material including internal academy communications, curriculum, publicity and administrative work, and documentation for the celebration of achievement, schools events and productions Advising staff and students on reprographics Production of INSIGHT magazine, celebrating the achievements of the Academy Contributing to the development of administration and learning resources Keeping accurate and up to date stock records Managing and developing technology used for production of materials Income generation of Central Resources, ensuring all reprographics are cost effective and directly enhance the quality of teaching and learning Creating annual staffing material (photo posters, extension lists etc); Managing paper stocks and ordering any consumables Qualifications & Experience We would like to hear from you if you have: English GCSE Grade C / 5 or above, and an appropriate standard of academic qualifications Good level of administration skills Excellent knowledge of IT packages e.g. Word, Excel, Publisher, InDesign Literacy and Numeracy to Level 2 Training in use of reprographics equipment, knowing when to call in technical support At least two years’ experience of working in an inner-city school or educational establishment with children and young people At least three years’ experience working in a reprographics environment Experience of designing and printing basic documents Experience of managing a small budget Experience of organising a busy service area effectively Experience of liaising with printing maintenance contractors Experience of maintaining a clean, tidy and well organised area For a full job description and person specification, please download the Job Pack.
