As a Band 5 Family Wellbeing Nurse, you'll play a key role in providing outcome-based support to children, young people, and their families, from the antenatal period up to the age of 19 (or 25 for those with Special Educational Needs).
Working across community settings, including family homes, schools, and our welcoming Family Hubs, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team.

Main duties of the job
As a Family Wellbeing Nurse, you'll play a vital role in improving health and wellbeing outcomes for children, young people, and their families. Working within a Healthy Family Team, you'll provide compassionate, outcome-based support in homes, schools, and family hubs across Essex.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Delivering the Healthy Child Programme, including health assessments and tailored care plans.
* Supporting children and families to achieve their full potential through guidance and empowerment.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Health Visitors, School Nurses, and other family support professionals.
* Acting as a role model for excellent care and providing leadership within your team.
* Mentoring pre-registration students and new team members, with support from our Practice Education team.
You'll also have regular safeguarding supervision and plenty of opportunities to continue your professional development.

The Ideal Candidate
We'd love to hear from you if:
* You are a qualified Nurse or Midwife with a passion for working with children and families.
* You are comfortable using IT systems and have experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* You hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.
* You are newly qualified or experienced in nursing or midwifery and eager to start or grow your career in a supportive, community-focused setting.
