Band 6 - Digital Neonatal Nurse, Woodland Neonatal Unit

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with expertise in neonatology to support the service with digitisation and future plans of digital transformation and development.
The post-holder should have qualified in specialty training and is expected to have excellent clinical comprehension and understanding of the requirements for high-quality neonatal data entry, validation of data, and interfaces of national data workstreams.
Main Duties of the Job
The post-holder will be responsible for identifying and leading significant service and operational transformation, including standardisation of neonatal EPR workflows and processes, service transition, and benefits realisation with the support of the neonatal matron and clinical team. The post-holder will work collaboratively with clinical key stakeholders to ensure patient and clinical involvement in the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of systems and EPR and related services.

Job Responsibilities
The post-holder will communicate and engage in optimal use of BadgerNet EPR and Oracle Millennium (Cerner), providing specialist knowledge, advice, and guidance relating to clinical informatics and digital transformation to promote the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to support and improve health, health research, and healthcare delivery. The post-holder will support the team with system training, troubleshooting of data to clarify clinical details, interfacing development, and MDT interactions for the neonatal EPR.
The post-holder will champion the transformation of the neonatal website to improve service information and access for service users.
Person Specification
Education and Qualifications:
* Registered nurse/midwife eligible to practise
* Neonatal Qualified in specialty qualification (ENB 405 or equivalent)
* Mentorship in practice (ENB 998 / MIPS) or relevant teaching qualifications
* NLS trained
* Master's qualifications or working towards
Knowledge
* In-depth understanding of the relevance of high-quality data
* Good technical knowledge of IT systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relating to IT systems
* Evidence of understanding of clinical processes and pathways
* Understanding of current developments within the NHS
* Knowledge of relevant Nursing national and local policy
Experience
* Experience of working in a hospital setting
* Previous experience of working at a Band 6 level
* Experience in change and project management
* Multidisciplinary working
* Experience of working with healthcare administration IT systems
* Previous experience working in digital/IT infrastructures and Microsoft technologies
* Experience of managing and supervising teams
* Negotiating and influencing skills

* Experience of leading the development of digital systems and establishing structured approaches to address issues
