Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking Pharmacist to join our experienced and friendly team dedicated to providing an advanced clinical Oncology/Haematology service and supply of aseptic products to the Trust. As well as being one of our Specialist Oncology Pharmacists, the post holder will also be our Specialist Biologics Pharmacist. This role will suit candidates with previous hospital experience, including experience within aseptics and oncology considering a move into a more specialist pharmacist role. We have recently completed a Pharmacy Transformation Programme to include refurbishment of the department and adoption of the latest technology to include a Chemotherapy EPMA system, automated robotic and controlled drug dispensing and e-Rostering. Main duties of the job To be one of the specialist Oncology Pharmacists providing pharmacy support to oncology and haematology services under the direction of the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology, Haematology andClinical Trials. To support the Aseptics Team by monitoring and checking chemotherapy. To be an active member of the Oncology Pharmacy team and to help meet the overall strategic objectives of the team in the provision of pharmaceutical care for cancer and medical patients. To be the specialist biologics pharmacist to develop, deliver and evaluate a specialist pharmacy service to patients requiring biologic therapy.
