The Role
Nordfab is experiencing significant growth in QLD and is seeking a QLD Sales Team Manager to drive sales strategy and lead the team in achieving sales and profitability goals. As the QLD Sales Team Manager, you will oversee and drive all facets of operations, sales, and performance across the state. This role is pivotal in achieving long-term strategic goals, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring consistent sales growth and profitability. The QLD Sales Team Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned territory as well as leading, developing, and supervising local team members to achieve outstanding results.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overall accountability for the performance and management of the QLD team to ensure excellence in business operations and customer experience.
* Lead the team in demonstrating open and honest communication, collaboration, and support that is aligned to the Nordfab values and expected behaviours.
* Increase the sales of all Nordfab products including Ducting, Flexible Ducting, Dust Collectors, Fume Extractors, Hose Reels, Spray Booths, and all other items by possessing in-depth product knowledge and building strong relationships with current and potential clients.
* Develop strong working relationships by regularly meeting with clients and potential clients to assess their needs, promote products, and negotiate and finalize agreements with major accounts, ensuring the required profit margins are achieved.
* Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and regularly reporting and forecasting state performance.
* Identify appropriate prospects and leads, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all product categories offered.
* Collaborate closely with the projects and production teams to ensure a deep understanding of product capabilities and features.
* Respond to client queries, requests, or complaints in a prompt and professional manner (with a resolution focus).
* All other tasks as reasonably directed by the manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* A minimum of 4 - 5 years of sales and people management experience.
* Proven technical sales skills, including the ability to generate leads and close sales (including a strong understanding of the sales process).
* A strong background in sales, operations, and team leadership, with relevant industry experience highly regarded.
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed KPIs.
* A current Driver's Licence and a commitment to professional development and training.
