12-month Fixed Term Contract - with possibility of extension to permanent

I am resourcing for an IT Service Desk Analyst for a client in Somerset. This role is on site and will require office working 5 days per week.
You should ideally be someone with service desk experience, that has experience with first line support. Although this is a 12-month fixed term, there is the possibility of this becoming a permanent role.

Responsibilities:
1. First Line IT Support
2. Troubleshooting - Hardware and Software
3. Respond to tickets efficiently
4. IT administration
5. Monitor systems and escalate where needed
6. Documentation - Maintain and Develop
7. Update OS and Software, maintaining security
Experience:
1. Customer Service experience
2. IT Service desk experience - ticketing, troubleshooting, problem solving, escalation
3. Multitasking, managing multiple priorities
4. Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable:
1. ITIL certification
2. Microsoft 365 environment hybrid environment experience
3. Qualification or degree in IT, Computing, or related field.

1. Fantastic communicator, with strong attention to detail
2. Curious mindset - problem solving approach
3. Eagerness to learn
