Role Overview: In the role of HLTA, you will play a pivotal part in supporting their students' academic journey and overall well-being. Their goal is to ensure every student thrives in a nurturing and secure setting. This may involve implementing positive behaviour management strategies tailored to each child's unique requirements. Primary Responsibilities: Uphold and promote student welfare in line with school policies, including safeguarding and the PREVENT initiative. Collaborate with teachers to execute learning activities and experiences that are suitable for each class group. This will support a comprehensive curriculum designed to help students reach their maximum potential across all learning domains. Foster positive relationships with students to create a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment. Assist students in their learning process, providing additional explanations as needed and contributing to their educational journey. Work under the teacher's guidance to compile evidence and information that highlights students' achievements and progress. Engage in the evaluation of learning activities and provide constructive feedback on student performance. Assist teachers in monitoring, assessing, documenting, and reporting student progress in accordance with school policies to ensure comprehensive tracking of student development.
