We have an exciting opportunity for an International Sales Coordinator to join our industry leading team working across a wide range of export markets. The role will report to the Head of International Sales and will support the team to drive English Language trade sales across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Subcontinent and Latin America.
The Role
Amongst other tasks, you will:
– Develop and implement a rolling digital communication programme for international sales
– Compile seasonal master sales presentations and distribute our catalogues
– Create, maintain and update attractive special-interest and genre title lists
– Support the sales team to develop sales outside traditional book markets
– Be the first point of contact for new accounts and work with the sales team to turn these into ongoing trading relationships
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
– Experience working in a busy Administrative role
– Experience working in sales within the creative industries
– Demonstrably sales driven
– Have a commercial mindset
– Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
– Confident using design and presentation software for marketing and social media
– Meticulous in your attention to detail
– Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work to deadlines
– Organised and self-motivated
– Able to confidently and professionally communicate with colleagues and external third parties
– Have a demonstratable interest in the visual arts
– Awareness of global current affairs
– Proficiency in written and spoken foreign languages (desirable)
