The Nurse Specialist will provide support for the patient and family from diagnosis through treatment and throughout the cancer journey. Using advanced communication and psychological assessment skills, the CNS will aim to assess and alleviate the psychological distress for cancer patients and their families, including identification of need for onward referral to other agencies and disciplines as appropriate.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with our Macmillan Urology cancer Specialist Nurses as a clinical nurse specialist. This is a 12-month fixed term position. * Collate and record quantitative and qualitative data to provide evidence of productivity, outcomes, and quality through audit and research and provide Macmillan with an Annual Report demonstrating the evidence.
