This business is seeking a well rounded Accounts Assistant to join their team and can offer a good working environment, some well rounded experience with progression a possibility for the right person. In this role some of the duties may include (training will be provided): Assist with the maintenance of accurate financial records, including processing invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders. Support the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Assist with payroll processing, including verifying timesheets, calculating employee benefits, and generating pay slips. Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoice processing, credit control, and supplier payments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial records and documentation. Assist with financial audits and liaise with auditors to provide requested information and resolve queries. Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other statutory filings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is captured accurately and on time. Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager.
