An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced, collaborative central finance team supporting a rapidly expanding joint venture backed by private equity. With a focus on regulated financial services organisations, the business has completed multiple acquisitions since its formation in 2021. The role offers exposure to strategic decision-making processes and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders.\n\nThis is a key role within the central finance function, designed to support the business’s ambitious growth trajectory and strategic objectives as they look to continue their buy and build strategy.\n\n What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?\n\nLead and oversee the annual budgeting and strategic planning cycle, including managing forward-looking budget models.\n\nManage planning and reporting processes for weekly, monthly, and annual internal reporting.\n\nAnalyse and monitor business performance, providing insights and detailed explanations to senior stakeholders including the Finance Director (FD) and Managing Director (MD).\n\nDeliver decision support through ad hoc analysis, business-as-usual performance reporting, and actionable insights.\n\nOrganise, manipulate, and analyse data from source systems to inform decision-making, with a focus on data automation and efficient consolidation.\n\nOwn and support rolling short- and mid-term forecast models, explaining assumptions and key schedules.\n\nSupport month-end processes, including the preparation of bonus and provision calculations.\n\nDevelop and enhance weekly and monthly reporting processes to group functions.\n\nContribute to project work and fulfil ad hoc reporting requirements.\n\nSuitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner Vacancy:\n\nQualified or part-qualified accountant.\n\nExperience in private equity or financial services environments is advantageous.\n\nStrong analytical skills with a proven ability to manipulate and interpret financial data.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\n\nSkilled in stakeholder management, capable of presenting financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.\n\nAbility to identify, explain, and interpret financial trends.\n\nAdditional Benefits and Information for the Finance Business Partner Role:\n\nHybrid working environment with flexible arrangements.\n\nDynamic, growing company with opportunities for career progression.\n\nExposure to strategic decision-making processes.\n\nA discretionary bonus of 10-15%\nDeath in Service of 4x annual salary\nA 1% benefits pot which can be used for flexible benefits such as top-up insurances etc.
