Grade: 5 £30,060-£32,654 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until September 2025

To support the continued project, Foster with North East are seeking to recruit an Assistant Fostering Hub Officer.
The successful applicant will support the regional recruitment and support hub, Foster with North East, ensuring that sound advice and guidance is shared with prospective foster carers. You will have experience in working with foster carers, supporting them through their assessment journey and working in collaboration with all 12 North East Local Authorities.
You will need to have knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience of working with children, foster carers, parents, and other professionals is desirable. Knowledge of family finding and matching children with carers would also be an advantage.
An understanding of the Fostering Regulations, Guidance and National Minimum Standards 2011 (England) is expected.
