We are looking for a Home Manager to run a well-established elderly care home based in the historical industrial town of Derby, Derbyshire. This home is part of a small provider who emphasises the importance of high-quality care delivered to residents utilising a unique approach to care which is associated with this organisation. The care of the patient is at the forefront of all they do, which is mirrored by the tailored personal care plan given to each resident.

Alongside the positive culture within each home, it is paramount that regardless of staff or resident, each day gives each person the sense of wellbeing and belonging.

Who are we looking for?
You will either be a Home Manager who has experience of managing a residential home or a Deputy Manager who is looking to take the next step in your career. The successful candidate will have a Registered Managers Award Level 4 and be able to evidence they have what it takes to run a successful care home in line with commercial and quality outcomes. The service is dual registered with Nursing, Residential, and Dementia residents. Being a RGN and registered with NMC would be beneficial but not essential.
As the Home Manager, you will need to showcase your ability to lead a team of multi-skilled professionals including a Deputy Manager, Unit Managers, Care Assistants, Administrators, Housekeepers, Catering, and Site Maintenance Personnel. You will be accountable for all residents within the home ensuring that their emotional, physical, and social needs are adhered to, while also ensuring that the environment is compliant with the local governing bodies.
Due to the nature of the role, it is vital for the successful person to have a flexible and dynamic approach to support the needs of the service.

Requirements

Summary
