This full-time, permanent role involves teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. Responsibilities : Plan and deliver stimulating and thought-provoking RE lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and respect for diverse beliefs. Cover a range of topics and ethical issues, ensuring lessons align with the National Curriculum and prepare students for GCSE and potentially A-Level examinations. Inspire students to engage with moral, cultural, and religious perspectives through debate and discussion. Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that values different viewpoints and promotes understanding. Monitor and assess student progress, offering clear and constructive feedback to support their growth. Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and related departmental resources. Requirements : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field. Proven experience teaching RE at the secondary level, with a strong record of student success. Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching RE.
