Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for an Airport Operations Specialist to add to their talented, hardworking team in Warton on an initial 12-month contract. The Role
Within the role of Airport Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
1. Coordinating the scheduling of aircraft and crew.
2. Coordination of handling for all aircraft visiting Warton.
3. Production of aircrew rosters ensuring that the Flight Time Limitations scheme is adhered to at all times, as regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
4. Processing and submitting all returned flight paperwork.
5. Responsible for delay reporting and production of statistics.
You
To succeed within the role of Airport Operations Specialist, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:
1. Experience in an aviation / flight operations background.
2. An awareness of CAA/EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) flight time limitations scheme.
3. Able to interpret aviation weather reports/charts (METARS & TAF).
4. Knowledge of aircraft limitations.
5. Previous customer service experience dealing with customer enquiries by telephone or email.
6. Confident in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
7. Understanding of different systems used (LEON/Flight Line/Darwin).
