Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Witham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure holistic support for SEN students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in English and Maths curriculum for Key Stage 3 Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, specifically with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments Proficiency in assessing student needs and adapting teaching methods accordingly Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule, work primarily in a home setting with SEN students, potential for remote tutoring All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
