Job Description:
The Role
1. Define and develop the Airport Lounge global product vision and strategy which considers opportunities across the entire customer journey.
2. In conjunction with the Director of Ops, develop a product operating model and capability ensuring high performing teams and individuals across Product Development, Bid and Delivery.
3. Determine appropriate design of all Lounge products size, preferred layout, and fit and finish - considering the size of each airport and local influences.
4. Define the bid strategy & roadmap aligned to CAVUs growth ambitions.
5. Ensure all products have the capability to profitably scale globally via a variety of investment & operating models.
6. Ensure any bids submitted both sell the product correctly, deliver acceptable returns and give us the best chance of winning new locations.
7. Ensure successful execution of product initiatives through close collaboration with the operations team.
8. Create F&B offering which balances experience with profit per guest, optimizing standardization and considering local influences.
9. Create, execute, and own the digital platform to optimize Lounge products including pre-book, guest check-in, revenue management, and stock inventory management.
10. Determine appropriate partners (credit card, card consolidators, airlines etc.) and execute partnership agreements consistent with overall Experiences strategy.
11. Lead the opening or refit of locations to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
Skills & Experience:
1. Excellent communication and stakeholder management at C-suite level.
2. Significant commercial and senior leadership experience.
3. A track record of developing and executing Product strategy to driving profitability and significant growth.
4. Experience of P&L management ensuring that key value is delivered within cost / timescales agreed
5. Passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
6. Self-starter, hands-on, self-motivated, intentional, and results oriented.
7. Ideas generation and workshop leadership and facilitation to manage successful innovation.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
9. Capability to work in a fast-moving environment.
10. Ability to spot warning signs of potential problems and to problem solve to ensure successful delivery.
11. Ability to foster a culture of data-driven decision making, accountability and metrics for measuring performance.
12. Ability to balance priorities and workload.
