Agile Coach Contract: Permanent
Location: Cornwall (once a week on-site)
Salary: £60,000 per annum + 10% annual discretionary bonus

About the Role:
Are you passionate about leading Agile transformation and driving cultural change? As an Agile Coach for one of the UK's top universities, you'll play a pivotal role in the organisation's journey towards agility across the enterprise. Working closely with executives, managers, scrum masters, and team leads, you'll coach and guide teams to embrace Agile principles, ensuring they deliver value effectively and consistently. You will work as a cultural change agent, helping to define transformation objectives and success measures while instilling an Agile mindset throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guide and coach individuals and teams in adopting Agile principles and practices.
2. Provide hands-on training on Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
3. Identify and remove impediments to ensure teams work effectively.
4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and learning.
5. Collaborate with leaders and teams to drive Agile transformation and mindset.
6. Facilitate Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, and Retrospective sessions to enhance team collaboration.
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential:
1. Recognised Agile certification.
2. Deep knowledge of Agile coaching with a track record of success in team and individual coaching.
3. Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to resolve blockers and articulate Agile principles clearly.
4. Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and implementing methodologies from inception to outcomes.
5. Strong mentorship abilities, with a focus on developing and supporting team members.
Desirable:
1. SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification.
2. ITIL foundation, Azure DevOps certification, or similar qualifications.
3. Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.
