There are over 30,000 recruitment agencies in the UK, employing over 100,000 individuals. So, what makes Oyster different? It’s the people we employ. People like you.
People from different backgrounds; from waiters to wildlife photographers, rappers to choir singers. People with degrees, people with no GCSEs. People from around the world, people from around the corner.
We don’t mind where you come from, we care about your future. You could be our future.
You don’t need to worry about having recruitment experience because you’ll be enrolled on a 12-week training programme. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to become a successful Recruitment Consultant, but your development won’t stop there; when you join Oyster, you will be signing up to consistent training throughout your career.
Our expectations are high, but so are the rewards. When you hit your targets, you can expect early finishes, lunches at top restaurants, celebratory days out, and pretty awesome holidays abroad (and I haven’t even mentioned our impressive commission structure.)
Let’s be honest, recruitment is a sales job. If you don’t want to work in a targeted environment, it’s probably not the right career for you. Within the first week, you’ll be picking up the phones and building your brand. You’ll be generating business, negotiating with clients, and managing your candidates. So, if you’re naturally curious and the thrill of chasing targets excites you, this could be the role for you.
We are committed to an equitable recruitment process, so if you’d prefer to apply in a different way, please contact Hannah Clarke, Director of People who will be able to assist.
We welcome all to our business regardless of socio-economic background, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, disability, or personal circumstance. Not only do we respect these differences, but we have created an environment to ensure that everyone is positively valued. Individually we are all very different but together we are stronger.

Hannah Clarke
Director of People & Operations
With 15 years of Recruitment experience under her belt, 13 of which have been spent at Oyster, Hannah is (and always will be) an office legend. After reaching a staggering 80-something temps – the stuff of Oyster folklore – Hannah made the monumental decision to step into a whole new role. And thank goodness she did, or we wouldn’t have her as our Head of People, steering our often-chaotic ship, and playing a huge part in Oyster’s staggering growth plans.
