The post holder will be based in the Maintenance Team within the Estates and Facilities department. The Estates and Facilities department oversee the operation of the significant University Estate, with over 70 buildings spread over 5 sites, including Pontypridd, Cardiff and Newport.
As the Accommodation Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation and control of all accommodation maintenance including management of our dedicated inhouse maintenance team and the legislative compliance throughout our accommodation buildings.
You will have experience in team leadership in an accommodation or similar setting, with the ability to build a high-performance culture in a service area with deadlines, service expectations and the ability to meet our accommodation Service Level Agreements.
This is a full time based at our Pontypridd accommodation.
If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
