The Network Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Network Engineers along with the day-to-day administration of the LAN, WAN and Internet platforms. The Network Manager will take responsibility for ensuring that all services provided by the Network Team are operational, and that all incidents relating to these services are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
The Network Manager should be a self-motivated individual with a good understanding of complex technical environments and strong interpersonal skills.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with the business users and Group IT teams, and facilitate communication and education between the two disciplines.
* Run the weekly Network Team meetings and attend 'project progress' meetings as required.
* Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and report on their performance to feed into regular service reviews.
* Manage and maintain the network with your direct reports to provide the maximum uptime for all critical services.
* Monitor incidents escalated by the IT Service Desk and ensure they are resolved in accordance with their priority and applicable SLA's, assigning ownership to other members of the team as required.
* Prioritise the day-to-day tasks that need to be undertaken by the IT Network Team, assigning them as required to the most appropriate team members.
What We're Looking For:
* Excellent understanding of Network platforms - Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 9k, Cisco 2960/3850 and HP Procurve series switches (2610, 1620, 2920 and 5400).
* Excellent understanding of Firewalls platforms - Cisco ASA and Fortinet.
* Strong experience of Wireless Technologies - Aruba.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in presenting.
* Problem solving and project management experience.
* The ability to lead and motivate a small team.
