A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to lead a small HR team in supporting two academies in Brighton. Key duties of the role include: Supervising two staff To partner with Principals and schools’ leaders and build relationships with key stakeholders Provide appropriate advice and guidance to the Academies in line with Trust policies and best practice Provide coaching and guidance to management dealing with complex ER cases Maintain an administrative overview of key employment information, including starters/leavers, benefits, payroll and the appraisal process On a personal note, you will be degree educated or equivalent (minimum CIPD Level 5) with established experience of working within a HR role in education. You will have a solid understanding of employment law and be effective in communicating across a diverse group of stakeholders. A good working knowledge of HR systems such as PeopleHR, SIMs or BromCom is desirable. This role is a busy hands-on operational position and will be a working model of four days onsite and one day working from home, 37 hours per week., 52 weeks of the year.
