Job Description: SIPP Administrator
As a dedicated member of our SIPP administration team, you will undertake day-to-day administration work, processing requests with vigilance and professionalism. You will support our clients and advisers, ensuring all responsibilities are met in accordance with our brand and company guidelines.
This role involves interaction with internal teams, external entities such as financial advisers and investment providers, and requires prior experience in the pensions industry, strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and a focus on accuracy and team contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer SIPPs daily, processing new business applications, transfers, investments, payments, withdrawals, and servicing requests such as LOAs, FSCS claims, DSARs, and contact detail updates.
* Communicate promptly with advisers and members regarding requests and issues.
* Track all requests until completion and participate in departmental projects.
* Manage other aspects of SIPP and SSAS workloads, including portfolios with properties.
* Build and maintain relationships with advisers and clients, providing exceptional service.
* Share knowledge and support less experienced team members.
* Ensure compliance with SLAs, maintain Quality Assurance, and embed risk management in all tasks.
* Resolve complaints effectively.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong knowledge and experience with SIPPs.
* Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Fluent, positive communication skills—both written and verbal—with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent numerical skills and customer service orientation.
* Understanding of SIPP rules, investment transactions, and calculations such as drawdowns, bereavement, and divorce benefits.
* Ability to learn new skills, processes, and systems effectively.
