Citizens Advice North Nottinghamshire is looking for a dedicated and meticulous candidate, to work as an assessor within our Client Support Team. The role will be in three main parts; providing support on our reception desk, giving advice to people who contact us over the phone and staffing our outreach locations around the district. This role will be predominantly based at Mansfield Civic Centre. We are open to applications from candidates with all levels of experience. We are becoming busier and busier as the Cost of Living crisis continues. So far this year, we are 78% busier than 2020. By the end of the year, we forecast that 10,000 people will need our help. Almost all of those clients start their journey by talking to our Cost of Living team. We are looking for a candidate who is empathetic, with good attention to detail and great customer service. We will provide full training on the important advice areas; particularly around welfare benefits, debt and housing. On reception, you will greet clients, diagnose their problem and quickly direct them along the best route for a high quality outcome. On our telephone line, you will receive calls from clients, and help provide them with the advice they need to move forward. At outreach, you will greet clients and provide information and advice if possible, or book them directly in with a specialist team. We are an office located in North Nottinghamshire, and give advice from Mansfield, Worksop and Retford and at outreach locations. We are friendly, dedicated, stable and receive consistently excellent marks in quality audits, staff surveys and client satisfaction surveys.
