Apprentice (HR Digital Support)
Are you interested in technology and all things digital? Then an Apprenticeship as a Human Resources (HR) Digital Support Technician could be for you!
Digital Support Technicians maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software and digital communications in organisations. As technology continues to grow, organisations are becoming more digital and data-driven, and there is an increasing demand for people who can support and implement digital operations and digital change projects.
As an Apprentice (HR Digital Support) you will be required to develop skills, knowledge, and experience in the Durham Learning and Development System which is the Council’s learning management system (LMS). You will also support with other digital systems within Human Resources and Employee Services.
Your day-to-day duties will include system user support, system development and administration.
You will be trained on all systems, processes, and procedures which apply to the role. This will be via on the job, shadowing, and formal in person and virtual training sessions to gain knowledge and understanding of the role and scope of the service.
Your normal place of work will be Green Lane Spennymoor but you may be required to work at any Council workplace within County Durham.
What qualification will I gain?
You will study towards the Digital Support Technician Level 3 with Ginger Nut Training.
What will I need?
You must have good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
