Project Manager (Generators) – WB Power Services WB Power Services is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Projects team. Who We Are WB Power Services is a leading generator specialist, providing power solutions, maintenance, sales, and hire services to customers across the UK. Our projects cover permanent and temporary generator installations, supporting key sectors such as the NHS, water authorities, and critical data centres. The Role As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial handover through to final commissioning, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role involves frequent travel to sites across the UK, meaning flexibility and willingness to travel are essential. Key responsibilities include: Managing multiple projects independently, with support from senior managers where required. Attending project handovers, accepting projects from sales, and ensuring all requirements are met. Liaising with clients to understand project scope, expectations, and deadlines. Maintaining CRM records in Protean, ensuring all updates are logged in real-time. Overseeing project financials, ensuring cash flow is managed effectively. Coordinating engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with WB Power Services' ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 policies. Managing supplier orders and invoices, ensuring they align with company timelines. Supporting the appraisal process for project administrators and engineers.The Person To be considered for this role, you should have: A background in mechanical, electrical, or construction industries. Experience in the generator industry (desirable but not essential). Strong project management skills, including coordinating teams and managing budgets. A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and offer alternative solutions. Familiarity with IT systems and project management software. The ability to work in a hybrid role, splitting time between home, office, and project sites. Flexibility to travel across the UK to attend project sites as required.
