About the Role
As Customer Service & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for leading the customer service team, managing 3PL relationships, and ensuring seamless order management processes. This role is pivotal in upskilling the team, driving accountability with logistics partners, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
* Customer collaboration – Develop and maintain high-level relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* 3PL management – Lead weekly meetings with 3PL partners to ensure service accountability and immediate resolution of issues.
* Order and claims management – Oversee order processing, returns, claims, and invoice reconciliation to ensure smooth logistics operations.
* Process optimisation – Refine and enhance customer service policies, procedures, and service levels.
* Data and KPI management – Monitor key metrics (CFR, OTIF, Service Levels) and implement continuous improvements.
* Team leadership and training – Lead and develop a high-performing team, filling knowledge gaps and driving best practices.
The Successful Candidate
To thrive in this role, you will need to be customer-focused, analytical, and proactive, with a strong background in customer service, supply chain, and 3PL management.
* Five or more years’ experience in a Customer Service/Collaboration or Logistics Manager role.
* Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge, including order management, claims, and returns.
* Proven ability to collaborate with major retailers and 3PL partners, ideally in FMCG, grocery, or food sectors.
* Advanced SAP and Excel skills with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
* Strong leadership and coaching ability, able to upskill and develop the customer service team.
