We're searching for a proactive and detail-focused Analyst for Crew Logistics on a fixed term contract for 12 months to join our incredible team. In this role, you'll take charge of delivering timely, accurate, and cost-effective crew pairings to the Roster Production team, ensuring everything aligns seamlessly with EASA regulations, FRM principles, and industrial agreements.
You'll evaluate commercial schedules, program changes, and charters, modifying and communicating pairings where needed, all while keeping crew regulations, establishment needs, and costs in mind. Your expertise will be key to keeping our Crew Logistics operations efficient, compliant, and fully in tune with Virgin Atlantic's vision.
Day to day
One of your key responsibilities will be to provide analytical support to our Workforce Planning team, delivering crucial insights from crew pairings to inform our establishment planning models. Your day-to-day will also include:
* The timely, accurate, robust, and cost-effective creation and maintenance of crew pairings for future planning month.
* Ensuring compliance to regulatory and union agreements including FRM evaluation, making recommendations as appropriate.
* Ensuring relevant and accurate pairing information, standby and crew hotel requirements is provided to support establishment planning and rostering.
* Ensure that Roster Production, Pilots and Cabin Crew are provided with up to date, robust pairing plans, in time for roster bidding and are compliant with EASA, FRM and Industrial agreements.
* Data analysis to support establishment planning activities (trip days/hours / days off etc).
* Continuous improvement of AIMs pairings generator to ensure optimal crew pairings are derived.
About you
We're on the lookout for someone with experience in crafting and managing crew pairings while supporting establishment planning. Here's what we'd love you to bring to the role:
* Experience of using optimisation tools in Jeppesen, AIMs or other crew management systems.
* Utilisation of advanced Excel functions and complex formulas to analyse and interpret data efficiently.
* A background of working in the airline industry is preferred.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
* A passion for innovation and supporting a forward-thinking team.
* Works effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
