Level 3 Qualified | Term Time Only | £12+ per hour | 28.5–47.5 hours per week

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and engaging environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. In this free-flow indoor-outdoor setting, you’ll encourage exploration, independence, and a love of the outdoors. From hands-on activities to fostering a sense of curiosity, your work will make a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families you support.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualifications : Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above).
* Experience : Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Passion for Outdoor Learning : A commitment to nurturing children’s love of nature and the outdoors.
* Team Player : Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire colleagues and children alike.
* Child-centred Approach : A genuine passion for helping children develop their confidence, independence, and key life skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Child Development : Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS framework.
* Encouraging Independence : Foster independence and exploration through a free-flow indoor-outdoor learning environment.
* Outdoor Learning : Utilize the beautiful rural setting to promote outdoor activities and a love of nature.
* Team Leadership : Support and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality care and education are consistently provided.
* Parent Engagement : Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
* Safeguarding : Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed.
