Hardware Design Engineer\n\nRemote\n\nSalary - £70,000 to £100,000\n\nAbout the job\n\nTake part in a small, close-knit team of engineers as a consultant ensuring technical input to solutions\nApply your knowledge to achieve efficiency gains of an order of magnitude by accelerating software critical modules in FPGA and removing bottlenecks\nWork remotely\nQualification\n\nYou have a BSc/MSc/PhD in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering or similar discipline\nYou have applied your deep knowledge of hardware development and can design FPGA boards using the proper toolset as a proof of concept, prototype, or product\nSolid experience with newer Xilinx evaluation/prototyping boards\nResponsibilities\n\nUtilize Xilinx Vitis to develop host application and customize firmware\n\nEmploy RTL kernel flow for hardware integration\nDevelop efficient interface/communication with kernel using OpenCL and/or Xilinx XRT API\nAlgorithm understanding in C/C++, Python or Rust and ability to translate them to efficient RTL code\nSimulation, synthesis, implementation and debugging on FPGAs (Xilinx Vitis toolset)\n\nIf you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as a Hardware FPGA Engineer, please don't hesitate to apply.\n\nAny questions, contact Sam May at (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
