To undertake the provision of holistic nursing care of patients and their significant others requiring chemotherapy/anti-cancer treatment, with the support of senior colleagues. May develop the skills and competencies to perform additional tasks. Will work as part of the chemotherapy team to undertake the education of other healthcare professionals, patients, and their carers. Participate in audit and quality initiatives. Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams in both the acute trust and community. The post holder will rotate between acute hospital and community clinic settings. Required to administer drugs, including bolus and infusion chemotherapy in accordance with trust policy. Required to perform venepuncture in accordance with trust policy. Undertake additional training as required to meet the needs of the patient and register any additional skills required. Participate in cancer peer review. Maintains the trust aims and objectives within the clinical setting.

* Demonstrate evidence of post-registration CPD.
