The Role

We are a forward-thinking insurance broker, looking to appoint a pro-active and customer-focused Sales Agent to our growing team.
You will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionise the insurance experience for our clients. You’ll predominantly be selling insurance for taxis and motorhomes, building relationships with inbound clients, and handling policy administration from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Selling insurance for a range of insurance products.
2. Obtaining quotations from inbound clients and prospects.
3. Administering mid-term adjustments.
4. Accurately collecting and inputting client information.
5. Following accounting procedures.
6. Administering new and renewed policies, including the set-up of additional products.
7. Dealing with incoming inquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
8. Complying with FCA and all other regulatory requirements relating to the role.
9. Inputting data onto the office systems.
10. Liaising with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client needs.
11. Providing technical and administrative support.

The Benefits
1. Excellent starting salary of £23000 - £28000 dependent upon experience + bonus.
2. Average bonus earned is circa £300-500 per month (some are much higher!).
3. Straightforward working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (no weekends or bank holidays).

The Person
1. The right candidate will have the personality, ambition, and drive to succeed.
2. Previous experience in a similar sales/telesales role is preferred.
3. High level of interpersonal skills – ability to build successful, mutual relationships with all clients.
4. Communication skills must be of a high level as you will deal with clients face to face, over the telephone, and also in writing.
5. Planning, organisational, and time management skills should be of a high standard.
6. Problem-solving skills.
7. Computer literate with a thorough understanding of company software.
